FRONT DESK COORDINATOR:

We are looking for a dynamic, front desk coordinator to join our team. The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for overall front desk activities including management of the reception area and meeting areas, customer service, phones, mail, and office supplies. This position coordinates front office coverage, and assists on projects and any additional administrative support necessary for the organization. Will report to Owner and Office Manager.

 

In this role, you will greet and assist customers with their needs, collect and process payments, bill customers, fill up registrations, maintain inventory, office filing, email management, create graphics for marketing, maintain & update social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube), and bridge information in the company.  Because of these responsibilities, it is crucial to have a pleasing personality and excellent communication skills. 

 

Front Desk Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional customer service in person and on the phone to customers, families, staff, vendors and the community: greeting guests, observing front door/guest protocols, etc.

  • Oversees the reception area to insure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image;

  • Coordinates with the Office Manager overall activities for the front office;

  • Maintain Front Office Manual, updating all forms, manuals and charts as necessary;

  • Serves as contact point for phone vendor and answering service;

  • Oversee office supplies: organizing, maintaining and communicating needs on weekly basis to Office

        Manager;

  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets and student information

  • Manage/Assist/Participate with belt testing, tournaments, competitions, special events, holiday parties, etc.

  • Maintain kitchen, bathrooms, staff break room, and education/training room throughout the day; oversees room set up and clean up for meetings and groups.

  • Process payments and student enrollments;

  • Coordinates and schedules meetings;

Front Desk Coordinator Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required; college degree preferred;

  • At least 2 years experience working as admin assistant in an office setting;

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; including the ability to speak and write effectively;

  • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail;

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information and work with minimal supervision;

  • Proficient with GSuite and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;

  • Authorize.net experience beneficial;

  • Proficient with Canva, MailerLite, Zoom, Wix

  • Thorough knowledge of modern office equipment, including computer, payment processors, copiers, scanners, etc.;

  • Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff;

  • Thorough knowledge of administrative practices and procedures;

  • Be service-oriented with the ability to pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Type: Part-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 1:00pm to 6:30pm

AFTERSCHOOL TEACHER (PART-TIME):

We are looking for a dynamic, part-time after-school teacher to join our after-school program. In this role, you'll be in charge of overseeing and planning daily activities, preparing learning materials, and helping students with homework. You'll also create progress reports to inform parents about their child's studies and personal development.

 

To ensure success as an after-school teacher, you should be able to encourage social, physical, and intellectual growth within children and possess a strategic mindset. Ultimately, a top-notch after-school teacher should be a friendly, approachable individual with a passion for teaching and excellent communication skills.

After-school Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily lesson plans and activities that focus on developing children's social and motor skills.

  • Assisting children with assignments and homework, such as reading, writing, and math.

  • Preparing learning materials and equipment, such as books, arts and crafts, stationery, and other supplies as needed.

  • Interacting with children to provide guidance, emotional support, and motivation to complete tasks.

  • Creating monthly or quarterly progress reports to monitor children's scholastic development and personal growth.

  • Meeting with parents to discuss their children's performance and any areas in need of improvement.

  • Maintaining an organized and clean classroom environment and ensuring students conduct themselves appropriately.

  • Ensuring that all school rules, policies, and guidelines are adhered to in the classroom.

 

After-school Teacher Requirements:

  • An associate's degree in teaching, early childhood education, or a similar field.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working as an after-school teacher, teaching assistant, or a similar role.

  • CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to be certified within the first 30 days.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.

  • Ability to foster a fun and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.

  • Strong knowledge of child behavior and learning patterns.

  • Ability to work with children and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to set rules and guidelines for children to follow.

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to maintain a tidy and neat classroom.

Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm to 6:30pm

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM BUS DRIVER (PART-TIME):
 

We are looking for a responsible and reliable after-school bus driver to transport students from school following a scheduled route and ensuring their safety. The school bus driver's responsibilities include ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, observing safety and traffic rules, and maintaining order among students while they are on the bus.

​

To be successful as an after-school bus driver you should enjoy working with children and strictly observe passenger transport regulations. Ultimately, a top-notch school bus driver should be meticulous when it comes to vehicle inspections and regard passenger safety as the highest priority.

​

School Bus Driver Responsibilities:

  • Being attentive to traffic and weather conditions and ensuring passenger safety.

  • Following the planned route and schedule for departure times and stops.

  • Regularly checking vehicle safety such as tires, brakes, turn signals, mechanical equipment, etc.

  • Monitoring and reporting fuel consumption, mileage, and passenger numbers.

  • Reporting delays, accidents, and emergencies.

  • Responding to emergency and non-emergency situations.

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of the bus when required.

  • Enforcing conduct and safety rules on the bus.

  • Maintaining a clean vehicle.

 

School Bus Driver Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.

  • CDL License preferred & will be given priority.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.

  • Clean driving record.

  • Previous experience as a bus driver.

  • Experience working with children preferred.

  • Working knowledge of first aid procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to be certified within the first 30 days.

Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 1:30pm to 4:00pm

Job Type: Part-Time
